This photo was taken during the viola da gamba festival of Asfeld in France.
You can see the violone I made in 2006 in the foreground. It is a six strings' copy of the original instrument I restored in my atelier and which is also shown on this page.
The string length is 82,5 cm and the tuning is G-g .
In the background you can see my copies of a treble viol, a tenor viol and a bass viol, each after Batista Ciciliano.
